About Aldo Roldan
Aldo Roldan is a managing director and portfolio manager at BlackRock and is a member of the Global Allocation team within BlackRock's Multi-Asset Strategies Group. Roldan's service with the firm dates back to 1998, including his years with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. Roldan joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 1998 as portfolio manager for various Global Fixed Income portfolios, before joining the BlackRock Global Allocation Fund as an associate portfolio manager in 2006 and later named portfolio manager of the fund in 2011. Roldan began his investment career at Chase Econometrics, where he founded and managed the emerging markets research group. Roldan earned a BA degree in economics from the University of Chile in 1973, and a PhD in economics and econometrics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978.
